#dayofthegirl

It’s International Day of the Girl! This year the theme is Education and as you can imagine, we love it. We have been spreading the love on social media AND we have joined in a global conversation through Get Real Live on radio to 1000’s of people across the world. We were interviewed with 3 other organisations serving girls across the planet and we even managed to get Urmila to call in from rural Fiji where I was imagining her standing on her head to get mobile phone coverage!

Thank you to everyone who has supported our social media pages and posted and shared updates and thank you to everyone for your ongoing support, it is greatly valued.

I am also very excited to be launching my e-book ‘BEHIND THE SMILES; Gratitude, Bed Bugs & a Hibiscus Princess, Stories from a Fiji adventure’ which is a collection of stories from our time living in Fiji and also of the wonderful a Girl & her world team and girls.
