Christmas cakes and crowdfunding

THANK YOU for helping us sell almost 200 cakes over the last few weeks!

We wanted to be COVID19 safe and more efficient with our baking this year so we put a call out to our networks and were thrilled that The William Angliss Institute in Sydney loaned us their training kitchens for a day and some fabulous help in the form of a pastry chef who was very professional and didn’t laugh at our efforts to batch bake!

Thank you also to those people who have bought the gorgeous wooden toys made by one of our long time supporters Andrew, who donated all the profits to us. If you would like to buy one please email us and we’ll put through the order for you.

We have one more ask We are trying to reach $5,000 to help us kick start ‘a Girl & her work‘ – a new part of our work supporting Girls who have become young women entering the workforce and tertiary study. There are real barriers to education and training once school is over and we want to complete the cycle and see them set up well for success.

Here’s the link to our Crowdfunding campaign, as always all donations make a real difference.

Thank you again for your ongoing support, it doesn’t happen without you!

Warmly,

Jane for team ‘a Girl & her world’
