Barbara joins a Girl & her world with infectious enthusiasm and positivity. Having spent formative childhood years in Suva Fiji where she met Co-Founder Jackie Robertson and stayed friends through letter-writing, Barbara has been a long supporter of a Girl & her world.

She is passionate about gender equality and the power of education, and living in both the richest and poorest parts of the world has shaped her fundamental belief; we are all entitled to a dignified and fulfilled life with equal access to opportunity, wherever we come from, whoever we are.

Barbara’s attention will be focused on strategic relationships and partnerships, which is a good thing as she loves to connect with people and is passionate about harnessing her love of and experience in business and applying it to solving significant global issues.
