We are reaching out to our community today to let you know that we urgently need funds to get another 10 Girls back to school next week.
So far for 2024, we have supported 51 Girls with uniforms, bags, shoes and travel passes and we have just received a new request for 10 more.
This will cost about $1500 and while this is a relatively small amount, we’re a grassroots, volunteer-run organisation that operates on a shoestring.
Our Christmas fundraising supported the 51 Girls already enrolled and we’re asking if you’d be willing to donate to help us get the remaining Girls across the line.
They are all families who have been assessed as vulnerable and the Girls will stay home until they can access the basics needed to start the school year.
We would love to be able to report back with their success stories over the next few weeks!
